Position Summary
Archway Service Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Service Dispatcher to support daily service operations and act as a key point of coordination between customers, technicians, and internal teams. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth scheduling, accurate work order documentation, and exceptional service delivery across our commercial food equipment repair network.
Key Responsibilities
- Work Order Coordination: Assist in generating and updating service work orders, entering equipment details, and maintaining clear technician notes.
- Customer Support: Greet and assists customers, helping them and guiding them through the service process.
- Clerical Support: Perform general office tasks including scanning, filing, and processing paperwork.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow Archway’s safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Flexible Assistance: Support various office and service-related functions as assigned by the Service Manager.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in dispatching, service coordination, or a related administrative support role.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and phone communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using dispatch software, email, and basic office equipment.
- Self-Starter: Organized, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Background: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Working Conditions
- Office-Based: Primarily an office environment with standard business hours.
- Mobility: Regular sitting, with occasional standing and walking throughout the day.
